around the world, our unique collection includes pieces you won’t see everywhere else…and often anywhere else.
Where do you get your inspiration for your collection?
We’re inspired by myriad sources, including our travels, our love of bright color, motifs from nature, jewelry designs from the past, interior design trends and visits to the world’s great museums and fashion centers. All these influences come together in our Merrichase oeuvre.
What is the meaning of the Merrichase name?
Our name evolved from our founder’s childhood family excursions, each fun outing called a “merry chase” or happy hunt. These words came to represent a spirit of adventure, a joyful curiosity and a desire to always take the road less traveled. Who designs your products?
We have a remarkable network of artisans, jewelers and craftspeople from across the globe and are always traveling and discovering new talents to add to our creative team.
Are all of your products exclusive to Merrichase?
Many of them are. We work closely with our designers who often make pieces just for us or rework their designs to our specifications. Sometimes we find a piece a designer has made that is so spectacular we buy it “as is!”
Where are your products made?
Most of our jewelry is designed and manufactured in Europe, notably France, Italy and Spain. Most of our bags are designed and manufactured in Germany. As we travel the world, we are always adding new products from new sources.
Are you able to handle custom orders?
We cannot take custom orders at this time. However, some items might be available in additional colors from the ones you see on our site. Please reach out to us at email@example.com and we can check on availability.
How do I adjust your adjustable rings?
Many of our rings are adjustable, with different styles adjusting in different ways. A number of our styles are designed with a band that’s open on one side and can be gently pushed to make it slightly smaller or pulled open to enlarge it to achieve the size range given. Attempting to adjust beyond this range may damage the band and is the customer’s responsibility. Rings that have been damaged by over adjusting may not be returned.
How do I determine my ring size?
Measure the diameter of a ring that fits you well and match that measurement to the chart to find your size.
- If your knuckles are larger than the base of your finger, we suggest ordering a half size larger so the ring can slide on and off easily.
- Measure at the end of the day when your fingers are warm. Finger size changes depending on the time of day and the weather. Also, keep in mind that fingers on your dominant hand are usually larger so be sure to measure the finger on the hand where you will be wearing the ring.
- Measure 3 to 4 times for accuracy.
- If you're shopping for someone else, the best way to find her ring size is to ask. If you're planning a surprise, get help from friends and family—they can usually ask without giving anything away.
- All ring sizes are given in US sizes.
I have sensitive ears. What materials do you use for your ear wires and posts?
All of our earrings for pierced ears are made with goldplated wires and posts.
How do I clean and care for my jewelry?
Merrichase jewelry can be gently cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth (old t-shirts work really well!) Avoid contact with hair spray, perfume, moisturizers or other cosmetic products. Do not use jewelry cleaning products intended for diamonds or precious stones on your Merrichase jewelry.
Can I order by phone?
We cannot take phone orders at this time.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover cards.
When does my credit card get charged for my order?
You will be charged when your order ships.
Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is collected in select states as required by law. Sales tax will be calculated and itemized on the final checkout page, determined by the state of the billing address.
Can I cancel or change my order before it ships?
If you wish to cancel or make a change to your order, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org right away. We will do everything possible to accommodate your request. Sometimes, due to timing, your order may already have shipped. In those cases, we will let you know and be happy to work with you to streamline a return or exchange.
When will my order be shipped?
Most orders on in-stock items ship within 24 hours of order receipt on business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day. Due to COVID 19, there may be delays in shipping. If you have specific delivery needs, please e-mail us at email@example.com and we will do our best to meet your request.
What are your shipping services and charges?
We ship via the United States Postal Service (USPS). We offer free 2-day shipping on all orders. Average delivery time is 2-3 business days, including processing. Overnight shipping is also available. Overnight shipping charges will be calculated at checkout. At the moment, we only ship within the United States.
How can I track my order?
Once your package ships, you will receive an email with your tracking number.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we only ship within the US. But stay tuned!
Can you ship to a P.O. Box?
Not at this time.
Can you ship to a military address?
Not at this time.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
All jewelry items are packaged in our elegant signature navy and gold gift box. At this time, gift packaging is not available for bags.
Can I include a gift message or gift card with my gift order?
We will include a card with a short gift message which you can add in the appropriate box on the shopping cart page.
Do you provide a gift receipt with gift orders?
Not at this time.
How can my gift recipient return an item?
To return or exchange a gift, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will assist you. For returns, we will issue a Merrichase.com gift certificate. For exchanges, if the exchanged item is of greater value than the original item, the gift recipient will be charged for the difference. If the returned item is of greater value than the exchanged item, we will issue a gift certificate for the difference. We cannot issue refunds to gift recipients. Returns and exchanges must be processed within 30 days of receipt. Items must be unworn and in original packaging.

What is your return policy?
Returns and exchanges will be accepted for any reason within 30 days of purchase. Merchandise must be unworn and undamaged, and returned in its original packaging with the original packing slip. Unless the return is due to defects or damage, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on sale items. All sale purchases are final.
How do I return an item?

How long does it take to process a refund?
Please allow up to 14 business days from our receipt of the returned item for your refund to be processed and appear on your credit card statement.

What information do you collect about my order and payment?
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name,
e-mail address, billing address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information, product preferences, demographic information and any other information you choose to provide. The computers and servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
Do you have any Merrichase stores?
Not at this time. On occasion we open pop-up stores and participate in trunk shows around the country. Please join our e-mail list and we'll keep you posted on where and when you can see the Merrichase collection in person.
