The technique of
pâte de verre (translation: glass paste) is an exacting method of hand pouring glass, practiced by skilled artisans at a studio we discovered in Paris. We became so captivated by the studio’s oeuvre that we had to add several styles to our collection—see our Tres Fleur earrings and Paxton rings which underscore why we adore the glorious colors produced by this technique. Designed to wear singly, doubled or as a lariat, this richly hued strand combines multi-sized glass discs in tones of jade and emerald in golden rope settings, with a few dangling discs that move gently as you do. Although its design is simple, its impact is bright and energetic…a playful piece that’s impossible to ignore.
